Hockey is back on the Sunshine Coast!

Join us at the Gibsons & Area Community Centre as the Coastal Tsunami open their regular season at home against the Burnaby Steelers.

Come out and be part of the first home game of the season! Bring your family and friends, wear your Tsunami colours, and help us fill the rink as we welcome the team back to home ice.

Let’s start the season with a loud rink, a great crowd, and a full night of Junior A hockey.

The Coastal Tsunami invite our community to join us for a special evening of hockey, reflection, and recognition as we honour Truth and Reconciliation.

As we gather at the Gibsons & Area Community Centre for BCHC regular season action, we recognize that this evening is about more than hockey. It is an opportunity to listen, learn, reflect, and acknowledge the history and ongoing impacts of the residential school system on Indigenous Peoples, families, and communities.

We encourage our fans and community to join us in wearing orange as we come together in the spirit of respect, remembrance, and reconciliation.

Tonight, we play for something bigger than hockey.

Join us at the Gibsons & Area Community Centre as the Coastal Tsunami come together with our community for Cancer Awareness Night, recognizing Breast Cancer Awareness and standing alongside everyone whose life has been touched by cancer.

We honour those currently fighting, celebrate survivors, remember those we have lost, and recognize the families, friends, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and communities who support people throughout their journey.

Whether you wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness or a colour that represents a cancer close to your heart, we invite you to join us for a meaningful night of community, support, and Junior A hockey on the Sunshine Coast.
